Who is responsible
The individual maintainer of Guarded Continuation Checker operates guardedcontinuation.org and is the controller for optional website analytics. You can make a privacy enquiry through the contact options on the maintainer's GitHub profile. Do not place sensitive personal information in a public issue.
Information processed
The site has no accounts, forms or partner-data upload. Cloudflare may process standard request information, including IP address, user agent, requested URL and timestamps, to deliver and protect the site. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics 4 may process page views, approximate location, device and browser information, referral information and interaction data.
Purposes and legal basis
Hosting and security processing supports operating and protecting the website. Optional analytics is used to understand aggregate use and improve the site's information architecture. Analytics is activated only with your consent. Advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalisation remain denied.
Consent and withdrawal
Your choice is stored locally in your browser. Rejecting analytics does not restrict the site. Use to revisit the choice. The footer control is available on every page. Withdrawing consent affects future collection and does not undo processing that occurred while consent was valid.
Recipients and international processing
Cloudflare provides hosting, delivery and security services. Google provides optional analytics after consent. Those providers may process information outside the United Kingdom under their applicable safeguards and terms. Read the Cloudflare privacy policy and Google privacy policy for more detail.
Retention
The consent choice remains in local storage until you clear site data or change the choice. Hosting and analytics information is retained according to the configured service settings and provider terms. The maintainer does not use this site to build advertising profiles.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
External destinations
The site links to GitHub and technical resources. Once you follow an external link, that service's privacy terms apply.
